2017-2018 MEAL PLANS

Required for all resident students and an option for commuters.

    Recommended for: Three meals a day


  • Description: 15 meals per week + $330 flex dollars per semester
    Price: $2,450.00
    Recommended for: Anyone


  • Description: 10 meals per week + $360 flex dollars per semester
    Price: $2,335.00
    Recommended for: Those who use flex more often than meals

What are Flex Dollars?

Flex Dollars are declining dollar balances that can be used at all on-campus retail dining establishments including: The Caf, Chick-fil-A, Broad River Coffee, WoW Café, Cantina 1905, SubConnection, Simply-to-go and convenience store in the Tucker Student Center. Flex dollars now roll over from Spring to Fall giving the students more opportunity to use them.

At Gardner-Webb University we have recently added a Late Night meal time for students to use their meals.

FLEXIBILITY: Faculty & Staff Meal Plans allow you to make a purchase for a guest; as long as the cardholder is present at the time of purchase. Use your meal plan to eat any where on campus anytime.

To purchase a Faculty & Staff Meal Plan, visit any dining location to pay at the register with cash or credit. Call Dining Services at 704.406.4326 for questions or more information.

Faculty and staff of the university can break up their meal plan cost into monthly or bi-weekly payments. Complete the application (link coming soon) and return it to any campus dining cashier by the required deadline each semester. Applications will then be sent to the Dining Services Office and the GWU Payroll Department for processing. If you are a GWU bi-weekly paid employee, nine equal payments will be required over five months. If you are an employee paid monthly by GWU, five equal payments will be deducted over five months.     Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected.

    One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

    • Please bus your table when you have finished dining
    • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
    • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable.  Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
